We are the largest privately owned UK bases manufacturer of office seating,
desking and related products. The company continues to grow steadily on an annual
basis, with a turnover of £75 million in 2006.

A key part of our success results from a very settled workforce which now numbers 963 employees across the Group. We operate a very successful 'Continuous Improvement Programme', which enables our employees to make significant contributions to improving the way we operate. All Senator Products presented are produced in conformance with ISO9001 quality
management systems and Senator is also accredited with ISO14001 standard for
environmental management systems. Products meet the requirements for FSC
'Chain of Custody' and PEFC 'Chain of Custody'.
As a Group we are heavily involved in recycling initiatives with some 383.7 tonnes
of waste being diverted from landfill in 2006 and many products such a polystyrene,
thinner and cardboard being reused.
The well rounded product portfolio is being constantly added to with the lunch of
'Play', our new desking and storage system along with a height adjustable desking
system 'Infinity', in early 2007. Our dedicated in-house design and development team
continue to develop new products to ensure the steady flow of new and exciting
products for the future.
We understand that without customers, we would not have a company, and constantly
strive to improve the services and support which we offer. The key element is to
understand what the customer requires, and to evolve our business so that it supports
those requirements in the most cost effective way.
